AREMU Fakunle John


is a young social development expert, value chain and business developer, youth and rural development. He graduated as the Best Student from the Department of Agricultural Economics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria and had undergone several specialized trainings in Processing Economics and Contract Farming by the German International Development Cooperation (GIZ), Advocacy, Gender in Food and Nutrition Security by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Drought Risk Reduction and integrated Water Resource Management by the United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) among others. He also had Post Diploma Certificate in Christian Education and Advanced Child Psychology by the Child & World Foundation Nigeria/Holland. He is currently a postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria and World Quant University, USA. He had worked as graduate research fellow with Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria. He is a youth leader and has successfully trained, mentored and contributed to the development of more than 300 youth. He currently works with the John. A. Kufuor Foundation as the Junior Policy Advisor to promote an enabling business environment to the rice value chain actors in Africa continent. In addition to this, He currently run his own company Cedro Royal Multiventures. A social development enterprise that provides solutions to the social, economic and environmental challenges in Africa. He had published more than 10 research papers in both national and international journals and he continues to serve as voice for African Agriculture and youth in diaspora.
